Job summary

Axpo in Switzerland is seeking a Product Manager for Generative AI to own the strategy, roadmap and backlog for GenAI tools like AxpoGPT, Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot. You will drive adoption through communities, launches and education initiatives, and collaborate with Legal, Security, and Governance to ensure compliance.

• Experience managing vendors, licenses or budgets; knowledge of AI governance and data privacy.

What you will do:

• Own and continuously develop the product strategy, roadmap and backlog for GenAI tools such as AxpoGPT, Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

• Drive adoption across Axpo through user communities, product launches and change initiatives, together with communication and education teams

• Define and track product and adoption KPIs, turning data and user feedback into concrete improvements

• Engage with employees and business teams across Axpo to understand their needs and identify relevant AI opportunities

• Manage vendor relationships, licensing, feature requests and tooling costs together with AI engineers and technology providers

• Create educational content and deliver workshops, presentations and demos, including to senior leadership

• Collaborate with Legal, Security and Governance to ensure GenAI products comply with policies, regulations and risk controls.

What you bring & who you are:

• Several years of experience in product management or digital product development, ideally in a large or complex organization

• Experience working with AI, Generative AI or data-driven products – deep technical expertise is not required

• A track record of driving adoption of digital products or new ways of working, paired with strong stakeholder-management skills

• Excellent communication and public-speaking skills, with a strong analytical and user-centric mindset

• Experience managing vendors, licenses or budgets is a strong advantage, as is awareness of AI governance and data privacy

• Fluent in English and German; Spanish is a plus. Even if you don't meet all the requirements, we look forward to your application.

You’ll join Axpo's Generative AI Competence Center, a cross-functional team accelerating the responsible adoption of AI across the Group. You’ll collaborate with AI engineers, Product Owners, business teams and senior stakeholders across Axpo.
