FORFIRM is seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise to design, deploy, and optimize cloud-based solutions within a highly regulated environment in Ticino, Switzerland. The role emphasizes IaC, cloud security, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver scalable and compliant cloud infrastructure.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on GCP experience, proficiency with Kubernetes and Terraform, and a solid understanding of PCI standards.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
Manage and optimize GCP services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Deploy and support containerized applications using Kubernetes.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Collaborate with development, architecture, and security teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
Implement cloud security best practices and support compliance requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and platform‑related issues.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud environments and deployment processes.
