Job summary

Union Bancaire Privée in Geneva seeks a Fund Operations Associate to ensure accurate, timely booking of fund transactions across mutual, hedge, and private equity funds. You will monitor trades with custodians and fund administrators, resolve breaks, and maintain proper records in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Fluent in French and English, you will work closely with internal teams to escalate issues and implement controls to mitigate operational risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Office; VBA a plus.
• Familiarity with fund lifecycle workflows is an asset.

Mission

Ensure the accurate and timely booking of fund transactions across Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, and Private Equity Funds. Follow up on ongoing trades, resolve operational issues, and investigate and resolve breaks identified through daily cash and stock reconciliation reports.

Main responsibilities

• Book fund operations, including subscriptions, redemptions, and switch orders, across Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, and Private Equity Funds.
• Monitor and follow up on pending trades with custodians and fund administrators, particularly for alternative funds, and ensure that transactions are booked within the required deadlines.
• Perform daily cash and stock reconciliations based on reconciliation reports, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding breaks.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure proper documentation, and escalated operational issues in a timely manner.

Education and Technical Skills:
