Job summary

J. Safra Sarasin Group is seeking an AsFund Research Analyst to provide first-class research and advisory service to discretionary fund managers and client relationship managers.

The role involves analyzing equity related to active and passive funds and supporting fund diligences. The candidate should have 2–3 years of fund research or portfolio management experience, be fluent in English and German, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, MBA or completed apprenticeship or similar banking education.
• CFA or CEFA is a plus.
• 2–3 years of experience in fund research, fund advisory or portfolio management.

Responsibilities

AsFund Research Analystat Bank J. Safra Sarasin you area team- and performance-oriented, well-organized individual, who has a high interest in financial markets and products, and providefirst-class research and advisory service to our discretionary fund managers and our Client Relationship Managers (CRMs).

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze different equity related to active and passive funds
• Advise the discretionary portfolio management team within your coverage
• Advise CRMs on recommended funds
• Create publications, e.g. recommendation lists
• Act as a deputy within the fund team and broaden your generalist know-how
• Support colleagues with fund due diligences

Your Profile

• University degree inBusiness Administration, Economics, MBA orcompleted apprenticeship or similar banking education
• CFA or CEFA is a plus
• At least 2–3 years of professional experience in the areas of fund research, fund advisory or portfolio management
• Experience withMorningstar, Bloomberg, AI
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Fluency in English andGerman
