Job summary

AYES - Management & Technology Consulting in Switzerland seeks an experienced Senior Fuel Systems Engineer to define and manage fuel system requirements and architectures for aircraft projects. Work across full development lifecycle in a global context.

You will collaborate with suppliers, support verification, certification, and DO-160 tests, and interface with airworthiness teams to meet program objectives. Fluent English, senior level plus 7 years in system engineering required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• 7+ years in system engineering for aircraft fuel systems (ATA 28)
• Strong experience in requirements management, system development, and V&V
• Supplier management experience and interaction with certification authorities
• Knowledge of aerospace development standards and DO-160
• Fluent English required

Responsibilities

• Define and manage fuel system requirements, architecture, and interfaces throughout the full development lifecycle
• Support fuel system development, integration, verification, validation, and testing activities in accordance with the V-Cycle process
• Prepare, execute, and document fuel system qualification and certification testing, including DO-160 environmental testing
• Coordinate technical activities with suppliers, ensuring compliance with program requirements and timely issue resolution
• Support certification activities and interface with certification authorities and internal airworthiness teams

Our Ideal Candidate Should Have

• Strong experience in requirements management, system development, integration, verification and validation (V&V), and testing
• Experience in supplier management, certification processes, and interaction with certification authorities
• Good knowledge of aerospace development standards and processes, including DO-160
• Fluent English is required
