CERN in Geneva invites applications for a Research Fellowship in experimental physics. Join a CERN group to develop and lead your own research programme at the frontier of particle physics, analysing data, contributing to detector design, construction and operations.

You will work in an international environment, collaborate with physicists and engineers, and participate in seminars, training and collaborative projects while pursuing your own research interests within the fellowship framework.

Qualifikationen

• PhD (or will obtain within six months) with no more than 6 years’ post-PhD research experience.
• Strong background in experimental particle physics or closely related field.
• Motivated to join a research group and contribute to high-impact scientific work.

Aufgaben

• Conduct research in experimental physics within a CERN research group of your choice.
• Contribute to CERN’s experimental physics programme using its large-scale scientific instruments.
• Collaborate with physicists and engineers on studies of particle interactions and related research activities.
