CERN in Geneva, Switzerland invites applications for a post‑doctoral fellowship in Applied Physics and Engineering within the Experimental Physics (EP) Department. You will contribute to designing, developing, deploying and operating physics experiments or setups, spanning detector technologies, materials science, mechanical engineering and computing.

You will join a highly collaborative, international environment and work on advanced projects in large facilities.

Qualifikationen

• PhD or near completion with strong background in applied physics or engineering.
• Experience in research settings and collaboration on experimental projects.

Aufgaben

• Conduct post‑doctoral research in applied physics and engineering within CERN’s Experimental Physics (EP) Department.
• Contribute to design, development, deployment and operation of physics experiments or setups.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large‑scale experimental projects.
• Contribute to analysis, documentation and dissemination of results within collaborations.
