Google Cloud seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customers, turning frontier AI products into production-grade, integrated solutions. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic workflows within the client environment, bringing a founder’s mindset and high agency.

You will address blockers to production, handle data readiness and state-management, partner with customer engineering teams, and influence Google Cloud’s product roadmap.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development using Python or similar languages.
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience taking production-grade AI solutions from conception to launch on cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).

Aufgaben

• Serve as a developer for AI applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows (e.g., multi-agent systems, MCP servers) that drive ROI.
• Architect and code the connective tissue between Google’s AI products and customer’s live infrastructure, including APIs, data silos, and security perimeters.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to ensure agentic systems meet accuracy, safety, and latency requirements.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and friction points, turning them into reusable modules or feature requests for Engineering teams.
• Co-build with partner engineering teams to promote Google-grade development practices and scalable adoption.
