Zusammenfassung

Sygnum is seeking a Tech Lead to guide the Portal team's frontend and backend efforts and to drive high quality, secure software delivery.

You will coach engineers, collaborate with Design, and partner with product managers to plan and implement new features while advancing our DevOps, testing, and observability practices.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams (frontend and backend).
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and client-centric product design.
• Experience with secure coding, testing and production readiness.
• Familiarity with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of software engineers to develop and own state-of-the-art solutions (front and back end).
• Improve quality and security of applications; collaborate with Design for client-centric products.
• Write/review secure code and ensure test coverage; work with SRE and solution architects to improve availability and observability.
• Coach and mentor engineers; plan features with product managers; run blameless retrospectives.
• Design reusable components across projects and balance technical and people leadership.

At the Portal team, we're the heart of Sygnum's client-facing experience, and our work directly impacts how users interact with their digital assets. We collaborate closely with Custody, Trading, Tokenization, and Banking Operations teams to ensure our applications are robust, secure, and cutting-edge. As a tech lead, you are comfortable wearing two hats: tech and management.

From a technical perspective, you will:

• Lead a team of software engineers to develop and own state-of-the-art solutions (front and back end).
• Constantly enhance quality and security of the applications.
• Collaborate with Design to improve our client centric products.
• Contribute to writing and reviewing high quality and secured code covered by tests.
• Work with SRE engineers and solution architects to improve the availability, resilience, and observability of the applications.

From a managerial perspective, you will:

• Coach and mentor software engineers in the team.
• Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to plan new features and improvements.
• Drive blameless retros and post-mortems that help the team learn from mistakes.
• Promote a psychologically safe space where everyone feels they can contribute and improve things.
• Designing reusable and extendable components for multiple projects.
• Experience and references as a Frontend Engineer in complex setups.
• Understanding UI & UX to seek the best experience for the user
• Knowledge about data preparation, API first and concept isolation
• Understanding the development lifecycle and its technologies - Git, CI/CD tools, unit testing, vulnerability.
• Expertise on agile frameworks (Scrum, kanban...).
• You are eager to work with FE and BE.
• You enjoy doing both: technical and people leadership work.
• You have a collaborative and growth mindset.
• You care about quality and security and bake those aspects in the software development lifecycle.
• You are comfortable taking ownership of the whole development lifecycle, from designing solutions to running the application in production.
• You are proactive and get motivated with new opportunities and challenges.
