Job summary

gloor & lang Pharma and Biotech Recruiting seeks a Deputy Qualified Person for a Swiss CDMO. The role combines batch release responsibilities with hands-on QA support across sterile production and related GMP documentation.

The successful candidate will work closely with the QP, oversee batch review, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor in a small, agile manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of operational QA experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Strong experience in sterile/aseptic manufacturing
• Experience in batch review, disposition and release
• Deputy QP exposure or close involvement in QP release activities
• Sound expertise in deviations, CAPA, Change Control and GMP compliance

Responsibilities

• Support the QP in batch certification and release
• Perform and oversee batch record review and GMP documentation approval
• Manage and assess deviations, investigations, CAPAs and Change Controls
• Provide senior QA support directly to sterile/aseptic manufacturing operations
• Ensure GMP compliance and contribute to continuous improvement on the shopfloor
• Support inspections, customer audits and inspection readiness
• Act as a Quality interface between Production, QC, QA, Release and external customers
• Contribute actively to the further development and visibility of the Quality organization
