Job summary

KPMG AG in Zurich invites a Python-focused software engineer to contribute to AI-enabled financial services solutions. You will write clean, typed Python, build LLM- and agent-based features, and deploy to Azure using Terraform and Docker while aligning with security and governance standards.

You should bring hands-on Python, knowledge of LLMs and AI agents, experience with FastAPI/SQLAlchemy and automated testing, and comfort with frontend technologies (HTML/CSS/JS/TS, React/Angular/HTMX).

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Python and modern software-engineering practices.
• Knowledge of LLMs and AI agent development.
• Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy and automated testing.
• Fluency in English.
• Familiarity with Azure, Terraform, Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to develop web frontends with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ TypeScript, React/ Angular/ HTMX.
• Experience and passion for UX and UI Design

Responsibilities

Your contribution to KPMG

• Write clean, typed and tested Python code, and follow shared standards and code reviews.
• Build LLM- and agent-based features with Azure OpenAI and AutoGen, including document processing and RAG.
• Implement tests and monitoring setups for AI quality using pytest and DeepEval.
• Develops backends and APIs with FastAPI and SQLAlchemy, with working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Deploy applications to Azure using Terraform, Docker and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Use and contribute to internal libraries and the shared platform.
• Work with growing independence on tasks in a regulated financial-services setting, from prototype to production.
