Axpo Group is seeking a finance-focused AI expert to lead the central AI stream within our Finance Digital Team in Baden. You will shape the vision, drive the roadmap, and prioritize AI initiatives across Finance while acting as the main AI liaison to Group IT, Microsoft, Databricks and our GenAI community.

What you will do:

• Establish and lead the central AI stream within the Finance Digital Team, shaping the vision, roadmap and priorities.

• Guide the development of AI assistants, knowledge solutions, workflow automations and decision-support tools for Finance.

What you bring & who you are:

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, Finance or a comparable field.

• Several years of experience in AI, GenAI, data, digital transformation, software engineering, machine learning or a closely related area.

• Theoretical and Hands-on experience with cloud AI platforms—ideally Microsoft Azure certifications in the area of cloud development, AI, data analytics or similar

• Strong understanding of the MS 365 ecosystem from the backend point of view to leverage it to create seamless integrated and secure AI-based applications

• Demonstrated experience in the field of Agentic AI custom development, evaluation, observability and cost-efficient deployment using frameworks like Pydantic AI, Langchain, etc.

• Solid skills of Python, SQL and the confidence to work with APIs, data sources, databases- ideally Databricks - and integration patterns, while keeping the bigger picture firmly in view.

• Fluent English is required; German skills are a nice bonus.
