Zusammenfassung

Axpo Group is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee trade finance operations and risk control in a fixed‑term role. You will manage LC, guarantees, and related instruments across a global bank network and drive streamlined processes with legal, finance, and commercial teams.

The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years in commodity trading or banking, excellent English, and a proactive, collaborative mindset to support P&L and capital optimization within Axpo’s liquidity

Qualifikationen

• A finance degree from a recognized university or business school.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a commodity trading house or bank, with hands-on exposure to LC/guarantee operations.
• A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
• A strong communicator who collaborates transparently and stays composed under pressure.
• Fluent English (C1/C2); German is a strong plus, and other European languages (Italian, Spanish, French) are useful.
• Ideally, experience with financial reporting or finance system implementation.

Aufgaben

• Operate Parent Company Guarantees, Documentary and Standby Letters of Credit, LOIs, Bank Guarantees, Bid- and Performance Bonds across a banking network of 30+ banks worldwide
• Lead the creation and continuous improvement of cross-departmental trade finance processes, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and automation
• Work closely with international trade finance banks, insurers, and internal teams such as legal, finance, and commercial operations
• Ensure accurate, timely reporting and a clear audit trail for all transactions, in coordination with other teams across the Group
• Act as a strategic partner to commercial desks (gas, power, LNG, LPG), supporting P&L and optimizing capital consumption
• Support structured trade finance transactions and related tasks such as invoice control and internal recharge
