ABB in Baden, Switzerland, is seeking a field-based Service Technician with a strong automation/electrical background to support customers on-site. You will plan service assignments, identify issues, prepare material lists, and provide on-site or remote analyses within certified product areas, while training colleagues and customers as needed.

Fluent German and basic English are required; travel and on-call work are part of the role.

Formación

• Completed vocational training in automation or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in automation, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Fluent German and basic English for professional communication with customers.
• Willingness to travel and participate in on-call rotation; weekend work occasionally.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with customers on-site to identify optimization opportunities and resolve challenges.
• Perform service assignments, identify technical issues, and conduct on-site or remote analyses.
• Prepare material lists and ensure availability of materials, parts and tools.
• Provide training to field service colleagues and customers as required.
