Job summary

SKAN is seeking a Field Engineer to join our team in the Basel/Allschwil area. You will maintain, qualify, and calibrate our isolator systems in the field, spanning older models to state-of-the-art filling lines. Expect extensive Europe travel and weekly assignments with flexibility for schedule changes.

You bring several years in service engineering, a technical degree, and strong English; German is a plus. Our academy training and a collaborative culture support your professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher technical training in mechanical/engineering fields.
• Strong English; German is a plus and beneficial for local interactions.
• Experience in service engineering or field service is desirable.
• Willingness to travel Europe 75–85% and reside near Basel/Allschwil.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on SKAN systems in the field.
• Qualification, re-qualification, and inspection of systems and products.
• GMP-compliant documentation of test reports.
• Calibration and adjustment of sensors.
• Filter integrity testing and ventilation qualification.
• Replacement and repair of components and on-site troubleshooting.
