Job summary

Biogen is recruiting for a Field Based Care Network Manager (Rare Disease) to collaborate with healthcare professionals, identify patients, and optimize care networks across German-speaking Switzerland. You will drive referrals to Centers of Excellence and engage HCPs to improve patient pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in natural science, medicine or business.
• 5+ years of working experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry in a field role, with at least 3 years in rare disease / specialty.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding commercial goals, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated high learning agility to understand rare disease patient journey, care networks and product lifecycles.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays, and ability to engage with healthcare professionals per country laws.
• Fluency in German and English in a multilingual territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients with rare diseases and support referrals to Centers of Excellence.
• Manage high-profile accounts within the field and strengthen care networks across therapeutic areas.
• Engage HCPs to improve brand perception and support product launches.
• Develop omnichannel engagement plans tailored to territory characteristics.
• Guide segmentation and targeting activities to improve relationships and insights.
• Collaborate with medical and brand teams to optimize patient pathways and access.
