Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH in Allschwil, Switzerland, seeks a dynamic Factory Controller to drive budgeting, forecasting and cost optimization within a global manufacturing finance team. You will analyze performance, support CBAs for supply chain initiatives, and contribute to monthly and yearly closings while ensuring internal controls and asset management.

Collaboration across functions and a drive to implement digital tools (D365, Power BI) are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar finance position in an international environment.
• Relevant education in Accounting and Finance.
• Experience with ERP systems (knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be an asset).
• Knowledge of digital reporting tools (SQL/APEX).
• Power BI knowledge would be an asset, including AI.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; French is a plus.

About the job

Our company located in Allschwil, Switzerland is part of the world leaders in the design and manufacture of cryogenic pumps for the liquefied gas industry. We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Factory Controller to join our Finance team. This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to drive improvements, identify optimization opportunities, and contribute to smarter work processes that support the company’s ongoing development. Collaboration is an important part of the job, where you will work closely with colleagues in finance, but also have the chance to work across the organization to share best practices and optimize our performance.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance and deliver actionable insights to management.

• Contribution to monthly, quarterly and yearly closings.

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance and internal control within area of responsibility.
• Responsibility for fixed assets, including maintenance of the asset register, approval processes, month-end closing, and forecasting.
• Opportunity to explore and implement digital tools, including ERP systems, D365, Power BI, and databases, to streamline and further develop our financial reporting.
• Ensure credit management according to group regulations.
• Drive process improvements and efficiency in controlling activities.

What You Bring/Who you are

• Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar finance position in an international environment
