The CERN Pension Fund invites external experts to join the Pension Fund Governing Board (PFGB) in Geneva. The PFGB oversees actuarial status, approves investment principles and risk controls, and may hold five meetings annually, including joint sessions with ATC and IC.

Ideal candidates have deep experience with large pension funds or long-term institutional investors, with governance, actuarial science, asset management, and risk management expertise.

Qualifikationen

• Experience overseeing assets and liabilities of large pension funds or similar long-term institutional investors.
• Academic and/or professional qualifications in governance, actuarial science, asset management or related fields.
• Strong understanding of pension fund governance, financial reporting and risk management.

Aufgaben

• Monitor actuarial status of the Fund and review financial statements.
• Approve the Statement of Investment Principles, Investment Guidelines, Risk Limits and Strategic Asset Allocation.
• Attend PFGB meetings and collaborate with ATC and IC as required, ensuring fiduciary best interests.
