Job summary

ADM Community School District is seeking a Building Supervisor to assist in supervising campus events with the Activities and Buildings and Grounds Departments. The role includes unlocking facilities, setting up event spaces, handling emergencies, and ensuring safety and cleanliness during and after events.

The position is at-will and hourly, with hours typically 3–8 per week, primarily evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Iowa driver’s license.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to be a role model for youth.

Responsibilities

• Unlock district facilities for events and outside groups.
• Set up chairs, tables, AV equipment, and athletic areas.
• respond to issues, complaints and emergencies and take action.
• Ensure facility users follow guidelines.
• Communicate cleanup and damages to supervisors.
• Assist with directing attendees and taking attendance.
• Maintain facility cleanliness during events.
• Assess inclement weather impact on events.
• Ensure security during and after events.
• Perform teardown and restore facilities to original state.
• Other duties as assigned by the Activities Director or Building and Grounds Director.
