Zusammenfassung

OHCHR in Geneva offers an internship in the Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Section to contribute to the promotion and protection of ESCR. The intern will provide substantive, organizational, and logistical support to policy development and advocacy efforts within the UN human rights framework.

Responsibilities include research, analysis, and collaboration with UN entities, governments, and civil society to strengthen ESCR partnerships and promote indivisibility of human rights.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled in a graduate school program or final year of a first university degree.
• Strong English; research and analytical skills required.
• Willingness to provide substantive, organizational and logistical support in the human rights field.

Aufgaben

• Provide substantive, organizational, and logistical assistance to the ESCR section.
• Conduct research and analysis to support OHCHR policy positions on ESCR.
• Assist in fulfilling mandates from the General Assembly and Human Rights Council related to ESCR.
• Support the High Commissioner’s advocacy efforts on ESCR.
• Facilitate collaboration and provide support to UN human rights mechanisms and partners.
