MCP (Switzerland) Sàrl in Zürich seeks a Trader to identify and execute market opportunities in equity index options across EU, China, and South Korea. The role involves researching ETFs, building trading ideas, and developing quantitative strategies for active portfolio management.

The candidate will model options, analyze data with statistical methods, and collaborate with the trading team to optimize execution while managing risk. Fluency in Korean or Mandarin is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Math or Statistics is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a high frequency trading environment (internships/apprenticeships permitted).
• Experience researching both US & International ETFs.
• Strong mathematical skills with evidence from competitions, research or awards.
• Experience researching and enhancing tools/algorithms for skew pricing and auctions.
• Experience developing trading ideas and using quantitative methods for trading challenges.
• Proven independent trading ability outside of a large firm.
• Position fluency in Korean or Mandarin Chinese for high-level trading in these markets.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, evaluate, and execute timely market opportunities and equity index options trading strategies across EU, China, and South Korea.
• Model equity index options and equity derivatives.
• Analyze large data sets and apply machine learning/statistical methods to derive patterns.
• Utilize portfolio optimization techniques to build and rebalance the portfolio dynamically.
• Responsible for portfolio construction and implementation including execution strategies and risk monitoring.
• Communicate with the portfolio management team throughout the trading day to drive an actively traded portfolio.
