Job summary

TalentCloud Group is seeking an experienced options trader to join a global proprietary trading desk across Hong Kong, Zurich or London. You will trade and manage options positions using quantitative models and data, collaborating with quants, developers and traders to sharpen strategies and tools.

You should have 3–5 years of options trading experience, strong grasp of pricing, volatility and risk, and a quantitative mindset with the ability to act calmly under pressure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Maths, Economics or similar.
• Postgraduate degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine options trading strategies.
• Analyse market data and apply quantitative models to spot trades.
• Monitor exposures and stay within risk limits.
• Work with quants and data scientists to improve models and algorithms.
• Follow the news, macro events and anything moving volatility.
• Execute trades and manage positions with good liquidity and execution.

What you'll be doing
You'll trade and manage options positions across global markets, using quantitative models and data to find opportunities and keep risk under control. You'll sit alongside quants, developers and experienced traders, and you'll help sharpen the strategies and tools the desk relies on.

Day to day
