Zusammenfassung

UNION BANCAIRE PRIVÉE, UBP SA is seeking a Senior Enterprise Functional Architect to shape the bank's data, processes and information flows within a highly regulated wealth management environment in Geneva. You will ensure data quality, governance and architectural standards across programs.

You will lead data modelling, define golden sources, and maintain enterprise data maps while collaborating with business analysts, solution architects and IT teams to enable compliant, scalable data

Qualifikationen

• Senior-level enterprise architecture experience in private bank or wealth management.
• Strong data modelling and governance knowledge.
• Familiarity with Swiss banking data regulations including FINMA Circular 2023/1.
• Experience with BPMN or equivalent process modelling.
• Proven ability to collaborate across business, analysis, solution architecture and IT teams.
• Exposure to modern data architectures (data lake, data warehouse, analytics).
• Understanding of data quality and Master Data Management (MDM).
• Knowledge of wealth management processes (onboarding, portfolio management, compliance, reporting).
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.

• Design and maintain a federation of enterprise data models serving as the reference for in-house development and data flows.

Mission

We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Functional Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team. You will play a key role in structuring the bank's data, processes and information flows, ensuring consistency, quality and control across a highly regulated environment supporting wealth management, compliance and reporting.

What you will do

• Define and validate the bank's enterprise data requirements and their end-to-end lifecycle, from transactional to analytical systems, based on business process analysis.


• Design and maintain a federation of enterprise data models serving as the reference for in-house development and data flows.


• Define golden sources for each business concept and validate the design of data flows.


• Build and maintain functional maps of the information system.


• Allocate functional capabilities across the organisation and applications, working closely with business analysts and solution architects.


• Support actively the governance of the bank's critical data, in line with FINMA Circular 2023/1.


• Define enterprise architecture standards and support their adoption across project and IT teams.

What you bring

• Senior-level experience in enterprise architecture, ideally gained within a private bank or wealth management institution.


• Strong command of enterprise data modelling and data governance principles.


• Good understanding of Swiss regulatory requirements for banking data, including FINMA Circular 2023/1 on critical data management.


• Experience with functional mapping and business process modelling (BPMN or equivalent).


• Proven ability to collaborate across business, business analysis, solution architecture and IT teams.


• Exposure to modern data architectures (data lake, data warehouse, analytics platforms).


• Understanding of data quality and Master Data Management (MDM) principles.


• Knowledge of wealth management business processes (client onboarding, portfolio management, compliance, reporting).


• Excellent communication skills in French and English.

Required certifications

• CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) — Practitioner level (Level 2).


• TOGAF certified (or equivalent enterprise architecture certification).
