Job summary

Union Bancaire Privée is seeking a Senior Enterprise Functional Architect to lead the bank's data, processes and information flows within the Enterprise Architecture team, ensuring quality, consistency and control in a highly regulated wealth management environment.

You will define end-to-end data requirements, build and maintain data models, establish golden sources, and collaborate with analysts and architects to map the information system while upholding FINMA 2023/1.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in enterprise architecture, ideally gained within a private bank or wealth management institution.
• Strong command of enterprise data modelling and data governance principles.
• Good understanding of Swiss regulatory requirements for banking data, including FINMA Circular 2023/1 on critical data management.
• Experience with functional mapping and business process modelling (BPMN or equivalent).
• Proven ability to collaborate across business, business analysis, solution architecture and IT teams.
• Exposure to modern data architectures (data lake, data warehouse, analytics platforms).
• Understanding of data quality and Master Data Management (MDM) principles.
• Knowledge of wealth management business processes (client onboarding, portfolio management, compliance, reporting).
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Define and validate the bank's enterprise data requirements and their end-to-end lifecycle, from transactional to analytical systems, based on business process analysis.
• Design and maintain a federation of enterprise data models serving as the reference for in-house development and data flows.
• Define golden sources for each business concept and validate the design of data flows.
• Build and maintain functional maps of the information system.
• Allocate functional capabilities across the organisation and applications, working closely with business analysts and solution architects.
• Support actively the governance of the bank's critical data, in line with FINMA Circular 2023/1.
• Define enterprise architecture standards and support their adoption across project and IT teams.

Required certifications
