BE CLOUD Lausanne is seeking a Platform Solutions Architect to lead the end-to-end data platform architecture, strategy, and scalability across the organization.

You will translate business needs into scalable cloud-native solutions, define platform standards, and guide AI/data initiatives. This role partners with engineering, ensuring reliability, security, and cost-efficiency while accelerating adoption.

Qualifikationen

A Platform Solutions Architect building a data platform is responsible for defining and driving the end-to-end architecture, technical strategy, and scalability of the platform to enable reliable data and AI use cases across the organization.

You act as a technical leader and advisor across AI, data, and cloud initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design the target architecture for the data platform (data ingestion, storage, processing, governance, orchestration, access).
• Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Define platform standards, cloud architecture, security, and operating models.
• Lead decisions on technology selection, integration patterns, and platform evolution.
• Ensure the platform is reliable, cost-efficient, secure, and maintainable.
• Partner with engineering teams and stakeholders to guide implementation and accelerate adoption.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you bring a combination of expertise, experience, and skills including:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Platform Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or a similar role, with experience building scalable data platforms.
• Proven experience designing cloud-native data platforms based on client and business requirements.
• Deep expertise in Azure, including Azure Databricks, Azure ML, Cognitive Services, and related data services.
• Partner closely with the AI Solutions Architect to design and deliver AI/ML solutions as a strategic technical counterpart.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployment.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and security, including IAM, encryption, and governance.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate technical strategy effectively.
• Strong collaboration and mentoring skills with cross-functional engineering teams.
