Job summary

UBP - Union Bancaire Privée is transforming its technology landscape and strengthening its Enterprise Solution Architecture Practice. You will lead modernization across platform, solutions, and transformation programs, guiding DevOps adoption and cloud transitions.

You will translate complex business requirements into scalable IT solutions, mentor teams, and ensure alignment with security, data governance, and compliance across Swiss and international private banking contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5–10 years as Solution Architect and/or Tech Lead.
• 5–10 years Swiss and International Private Banking experience in Wealth/Asset Management, Trading, Treasury, Back Office.
• TOGAF or equivalent certification; AWS/Azure/Google Certified Architect may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable, reliable IT solutions.
• Guide development teams and lead transition to DevOps and cloud models.
• Lead the transition to the target Functional Architecture with project manager.
• Collaborate with security, data governance, and IT delivery teams to align vision.
• Maintain the Enterprise Architecture repository and solution design docs (Confluence, My-Carto).

UBP is undergoing a transformation of its technology systems and ramping up its digitalization capabilities. We are therefore strengthening our Enterprise Solution Architecture Practice. Your mission would be to lead the modernization of our platform, solutions, and transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design : Translate Business Requirement into scalable, reliable, and secure IT Solutions
• Technical Leadership: Guide development teams and lead the transition to DevOps, Private and Public Cloud and more
• Functional Leadership: Guide the project manager and lead the transition to the target Functional Architecture
• Stakeholder Management: Understand, collaborate, and aligned transversal team to the same vision: Security, Data Governance, Operational Resilience, Data Protection, Legal, Compliance, Functional and System Architects, IT Delivery teams
• Documentation: Maintain the Enterprise Architecture Repository and Solution Design documentation: Confluence, My-Carto, etc

Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT or related field
• 5-10 years as Solution Architect and/or Tech Lead
• 5-10 years Swiss and International Private Banking experience and in particular Wealth Management, Asset Management, Trading, Treasury, Back Office Operation Processes

Certification: TOGAF, AWS/Azure/Google Certified Solution Architect
