Flexion Robotics in Zürich is seeking a talented MS or PhD intern to advance humanoid robotics perception and decision-making. You will work on agentic systems built on vision-language models, synthetic data pipelines, and deployed systems in real-world and simulation environments.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Experience with large language models / vision language models, agentic patterns, model deployment and inference.
• Familiarity with synthetic data generation and automatic annotation at scale.
• Excellent Python skills; write clean, modular code for rapid experimentation.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to implement state-of-the-art methods from recent literature.

About Flexion:

At Flexion, we're building the intelligence layer powering the next generation of humanoid robots. The Role

We're looking for a talented MS or PhD intern to join our team in Zürich and push the boundaries of how humanoid robots perceive and interact with the world.

You will work on agentic systems built on vision language models to enable high-level desicision making and perception in humanoid robots, synthetic data generation pipelines and deployed systems in real-world and simulation.

Required skills:

• Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
• Experience with large language models / vision language models, agentic patterns, model deployment and inference
• Familiarity with synthetic data generation and automatic annotation at scale
• Excellent Python skills; comfortable writing clean, modular code for rapid experimentation
• Strong, proven analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to navigate and implement state-of-the‑art methods from recent literature

Additionally, the following skills are a plus but not required:

• Experience in robotics
• Experience in simulation environments
• Experience with fine‑tuning vision language models
• Experience with modern inference engines, e.g. vLLM, SGLang
