Waygate Technologies in Zurich, Switzerland seeks a Software Engineer to design and develop embedded control software with UI, tested against hardware platforms and robotics systems. You will contribute across the full software lifecycle and support new camera and robotic developments.

The role requires a degree in CS or related field, with strong Python/C++/Java skills, knowledge of PyQt and Git, and experience in concurrent programming. English fluency is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar field.
• Professional work experience; robotics or micro mechanics is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python, C++/C# or Java.
• Familiarity with AI inference workflows or ML models is a plus.
• Familiarity with Python libraries like NumPy, SciPy, PyQt and Git.
• Experience with concurrent programming (threading, multiprocessing).
• Knowledge of software design patterns (MVVM, MVC, pub-sub).
• Fluency in English; German a plus.
