Job summary

CERN in Geneva seeks an Engineer to renovate the LHC Collimator Control System, blending software development, controls engineering and accelerator technology to improve reliability and maintainability of critical protection systems.

You will develop and maintain control applications with the FESA framework, support commissioning, and integrate systems with the alarm server to enable real-time monitoring and safer operations at CERN's flagship facility.

Qualifications

• Experience with control systems design and implementation.
• Familiarity with accelerator environments is a plus.
• Ability to validate interlocks and fail-safes.
