Zusammenfassung

Flexsis in Rotkreuz is seeking an experienced Embedded Rust Engineer to strengthen the software team. You will work on embedded and real-time software, contribute to software architecture and take ownership of development tasks from concept through implementation and maintenance, in a regulated environment.

The role emphasizes hardware proximity and a strong passion for Rust and real-time systems. 50% remote work possible; initial 12-month contract with extension depending on project; start date

Qualifikationen

• Embedded or systems-level software development experience.
• Experience with real-time Linux (PREEMPT_RT) or a comparable RTOS.
• Practical experience with CAN bus – mandatory.
• Good understanding of latency, jitter and task scheduling.
• Experience working with physical hardware and low-level systems.

Aufgaben

• Develop software concepts and participate in feasibility studies.
• Take ownership of software development tasks and ensure quality and review processes are followed.
• Define, estimate and plan work packages and contribute to software specifications and designs.
• Contribute to software architecture and define relevant quality attributes.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement bug fixes for post-market software releases.
• Ensure compliance with development processes and relevant regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
• Collaborate with other teams and actively share technical knowledge.
