INTEGRATE Informatik AG is seeking an experienced Embedded Rust Engineer to develop hardware-level real-time software running on Real-Time Linux, interacting directly with electronics and sensors. You will design and implement embedded software in Rust, ensuring robust timing and reliability in mechatronic systems.

The role requires hands-on experience with CAN bus and Linux-based debugging, plus a strong grasp of latency, jitter, and task scheduling in real-time environments.

Qualifikationen

• Must-have: embedded/systems-level software development using Rust.
• Experience with Real-Time Linux (PREEMPT_RT) or similar RTOS.
• Hands-on CAN bus experience is mandatory.
• Strong grasp of real-time concepts: latency, jitter, scheduling.
• Experience with Linux and embedded build/debug tools.
• Contributes to software design, architecture, troubleshooting.
• Very good command of English.

For a challenging project, we are looking for an experienced Embedded Rust Engineer to develop hardware-level real-time software. The software runs on Real-Time Linux and communicates directly with electronics, sensors, and mechatronic components.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Development of embedded / systems-level software using Rust
• Experience with Real-Time Linux (PREEMPT_RT) or a comparable RTOS
• Hands-on CAN bus experience is mandatory
• Strong understanding of real-time systems, including latency, jitter, and task scheduling
• Experience with Linux and embedded build/debugging tools
• Contribution to software design, architecture, and troubleshooting
• Very good command of English

Nice to have:

Experience with IEC 62304 / ISO 13485 / IVDR, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, as well as German language skills.
