Job summary

Startupvalleys seeks a HIL Testing & Quality Technician to join the HIL Systems team in Switzerland. You will ensure that HIL test systems and electronic assemblies meet functional and quality requirements before delivery to customers, performing manual and automated tests and supporting troubleshooting and improvements.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship or technical education in electronics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on electronics testing or quality control experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with electronic measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
• Fluent English communication and eligibility to work in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests from PCBA to full HIL bench level.
• Document test results, deviations and identify defects.
• QA/QC inspections of PCBs and assemblies, including solder joints.
• Perform THT and SMD soldering, rework, modification, and repair.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and test results.
• Operate lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, generators) for verification.
