Job summary

SR Technics Group in Zürich is seeking an Electronic Technician to join our shop floor at Zurich Airport. You will inspect harnesses, create job orders from results, and plan overhaul timelines for engine parts within a defined work scope.

The role requires completing a 3–4 year apprenticeship in electrical/automation, ability to work independently, and good command of English (German is not required if English is strong). 2‑shift availability and teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Completed 3–4 year apprenticeship as an electrician, automation mechanic, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and accurately.
• Team player with strong commitment.
• Language skills: English minimum level A2; candidates without German must have very good English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the technical condition of harnesses according to regulations.
• Create job orders based on inspection results.
• Plan overhaul timelines for engine parts.
• Repair and test parts according to the defined work scope.
• Perform in-process and final inspections.
• Coordinate with Engineering on out-of-limit findings.
• Ensure proper documentation, certification of harnesses, and compliance with safety, quality, and 5S standards.

Your tasks
