Lonza in Basel is seeking an Associate Principal Scientist E&L to lead Extractables & Leachables studies and supervise a team within the DPS Forensic Chemistry group. You will oversee EL assessments, data interpretation, and the development of protocols and SOPs, driving scientific leadership.

The role requires a PhD and strong experience with hyphenated analytical methods, with opportunities to contribute to innovative projects and cross-functional collaboration across Lonza sites.

Qualifikationen

• Substantial work experience with hyphenated analytical methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.

• Experience in reporting, interpretation and documentation of complex analytical data.

Aufgaben

• Perform and supervise Extractables & Leachables (EL) laboratory studies to support DPS projects and for external customers.
• Perform and supervise EL assessments according to internal procedures and best scientific practices.
• Supervise lab scientists and interns; review data and compile protocols, reports, and SOPs.
• Enable innovation and technical strategy projects; generate intellectual property; evaluate new technologies.
• Interact with Forensic Chemistry, DPS and broader Lonza network to coordinate efforts.
