SIS Swiss International School seeks an Educational Quality Manager (80-100%) to shape educational quality, pedagogical development and curriculum design across our international network.

Based in Männedorf, Zürich, the role supports country priorities, embeds the SIS bilingual concept and leads professional learning for teachers and leaders, with international travel required to drive quality initiatives.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Act as the primary educational quality partner for assigned countries, supporting leadership with the implementation and embedding of the SIS bilingual educational concept, quality standards and pedagogical development.
• Coordinate and participate in school evaluations and monitor the implementation of Group quality initiatives.
• Support the development, implementation and review of curricula, and coordinate updates to Group-wide educational resources.
• Design and facilitate professional learning for teachers and school leaders, and support the onboarding and development of new school leaders.
• Support the Chief Quality Officer with educational innovation projects and strategic initiatives that strengthen teaching, learning and educational quality across the SIS Group.

SIS Swiss International School is a group of private day schools offering bilingual education from kindergarten through to college level. Our schools provide immersive education in the respective local language and English. Currently, around 5,000 students attend 20 school locations in Switzerland, Germany, Brazil, Italy and Spain.

Educational Quality Management (80-100%)

Starting 1 February 2027 or by mutual agreement.

Role Overview:

This is an exciting and multifaceted role, combining responsibilities across educational quality, pedagogical and leadership development, and curriculum design and implementation. The role provides the opportunity to contribute to both country-level priorities and Group-wide initiatives that strengthen the quality of educational provision for our students from kindergarten through to college.

In this position, you will work to:

• Strengthen educational quality across an international organisation
• Support in embedding the company‘s educational concept in practice across assigned countries
• Contribute to leadership development and professional learning
• Support curriculum development, review and implementation
• Contribute to strategic educational initiatives and innovation

Key Responsibilities:

• Country Partnership & Quality Support: Act as the primary educational quality partner for assigned countries, supporting leadership with the implementation and embedding of the SIS bilingual educational concept, quality standards and pedagogical development.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• A university degree in teaching, pedagogy or a closely related educational field.

Experience:

• Experience in educational leadership, curriculum development and/or school improvement.
• Significant teaching experience in kindergarten, primary and/or secondary education.
• Experience using evidence to inform pedagogical improvement.
• Experience leading or supporting curriculum implementation and professional learning.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge and understanding of effective pedagogy, teaching and learning.
• Ability to evaluate educational practice and use evidence to support improvement.Confidence in facilitating professional learning and supporting pedagogical development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively. Confidence in using digital tools and technologies and exploring innovative approaches to enhance teaching, learning and educational improvement.
• Fluency in either English or German, with a good command of the other language.

Preferred

• Knowledge and understanding of bilingual education or multilingual learning environments.
• Experience supporting educational change and improvement.
• Experience working within an international school group or multi-school organisation.
• Additional language skills, particularly in Spanish, Italian or Portuguese.

Working Arrangements

This position is based at our offices in Männedorf, Zürich. Flexible working arrangements are available. International travel is a requirement for this role.
