AVIAN in Zurich is seeking a Software/Applications Engineer intern to help build monitoring applications using computer vision. You will work on cutting-edge infrared camera tech, deploying models on edge devices and interfacing with customers, visiting client sites as needed.

You will join a team of expert CV practitioners and contribute to an impact-driven, mission-critical product, with mentorship and hands-on learning across software, hardware, AI, data, and industrial IoT.

Qualifikationen

• Deep expertise in computer vision, both classical and AI approaches.
• Comfortable deploying algorithms from lab to edge devices.
• Experience with model acceleration, pruning, and evaluation.
• Able to translate customer needs into implementable code.
• Hardware experience with various camera sensors and embedded systems.
• Proficiency in English and Linux-based environments.
