Specialized is seeking a hands-on validation engineer to support end-to-end testing of electronic systems for e-bikes at the Cham innovation center in Switzerland. You will validate firmware, hardware changes and related tools, perform riding tests, and contribute to high-quality ride feel.

You will collaborate with system engineers, conduct test protocols, document results, and provide feedback to the quality team.

Qualifikationen

• Min 2-3 years' experience in firmware, software, embedded system testing or in the bike industry.
• Good communication skills in English (German a plus).
• Knowledge of Jira/Confluence is a plus.

Aufgaben

• End-to-end validation in development projects.
• User validation of new firmware (HMI, motor, battery) including riding tests.
• Toolchain validation and Specialized App testing.
• Regression testing on released bikes.
• Define/execute delta validation protocols for new firmware.
• Assist in validation of hardware running changes.
• Document test results and follow up on findings.
• Feedback test findings to quality engineer.
• Define reproduction test protocols for issues.
• Collaborate with System Engineering to define new test protocols.
