We are supporting a global technology leader on one of the most ambitious capital programmes currently underway in Geneva, Switzerland.
We are looking for a Document Controller to join this programme on the owner's side — someone who has built a solid foundation in construction and engineering document management and is ready to take ownership of information control in a high-value, fast-moving environment where accuracy, traceability, and timing are non-negotiable.
Document Management & Control Maintain and administer the project's document management system — ensuring all technical documents, drawings, specifications, and correspondence are correctly registered, numbered, revised, and distributed in accordance with the project's document control procedures.
Drawing & Revision Control Manage the receipt, review, and issue of engineering drawings and technical submittals — tracking revision status, ensuring superseded documents are appropriately archived, and maintaining a clear and current register of live documentation at all times.
Transmittal Management Process and record all incoming and outgoing transmittals between the owner, EPC contractors, subcontractors, and design teams — ensuring documents are issued to the correct parties, within agreed timeframes, and with a full audit trail maintained throughout.
Submittal & RFI Tracking Log, distribute, and track contractor submittals and requests for information (RFIs) through the review and response cycle — chasing outstanding responses, maintaining status registers, and escalating overdue items to the relevant project leads.
Correspondence & Records Management Control the flow of formal project correspondence — registering incoming and outgoing letters, notices, and instructions, and ensuring all contractual communications are filed, traceable, and accessible to the project team.
Handover Documentation Support Support the compilation and organisation of the project's handover documentation package — working with engineering, commissioning, and construction teams to ensure all required records, certificates, and as-built documentation are complete, correctly formatted, and submitted on time.
