Job summary

Applitrack is seeking an Information Systems Manager to lead the District's database systems, focusing on PowerSchool administration, data integrity, reporting, and integration with other district systems. The role reports to the Director Of Technology and requires 3–5 years' related experience, plus proficiency in SQL, Oracle, and various education tools.

The position is on-site with 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) and offers health insurance, retirement participation, and a broader benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with a ticketing system and independent work
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work flex hours as needed
• Strong communication with staff, students, and families across grades
• 3–5 years in related roles; powerschool/education systems experience required

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and troubleshoot district database systems
• Coordinate database activities: updates, patches, reports, access rights
• Maintain environments (development, test, production) and data integrity
• Provide technical assistance and training on new systems
• Oversee state reporting elements and enrollment processes
• Coordinate backups, restores, and recovery processes
• Plan infrastructure to support new apps; coordinate projects with Director
• Manage network accounts and security groups
• Ensure data privacy compliance (DPAs) and regulatory alignment
• Provide regular updates on database systems and trends
• Stay current with district technology and attend professional meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
