Job summary

Opendata.ch, the Swiss open data association, seeks a Director to lead operations and steer growth in open data, open source, and responsible digitalisation. You will work with a diverse network across government, academia, politics and civil society, translating strategy into concrete projects.

The role offers high autonomy, flexible hours, remote options within Switzerland, and a competitive salary up to CHF 115,000 at 100% workload.

Responsibilities

• Lead the office and ensure reliable, professional operations.
• Turn strategic priorities into concrete activities and projects.
• Coordinate and develop ongoing projects, align with open data/governance topics.
• Expand funding and partnerships with the Board to unlock new initiatives.
• Represent Opendata.ch to government, civil society and industry.
• Maintain active dialogue with the community and grow the network.
• Collaborate with the Board to ensure alignment of strategy and operations.
