Pella Community School District is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative leader to serve as our Director of Food Service. This role oversees the district's Child Nutrition Program, including meal planning, service, food safety, and budgeting while developing staff and ensuring a positive experience for students and staff.

EOE/AA. ServSafe certification is required or must be obtainable; prior supervisory experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory/management experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the district's Child Nutrition Program.
• Oversee daily operations of food service including meal planning and service.
• Ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgeting and financial aspects of the program.
• Develop and support staff through training and professional growth.
