BD Switzerland Sàrl in Switzerland seeks a Director, HEOR for the EMEA region to shape regional HEOR strategy and ensure robust evidence generation and value communication across products and programs.

The role leads regional HEOR strategy, collaborates with marketing, access, and regulatory teams, and drives enterprise-level HEOR initiatives across markets. Immediate start with permanent employment in Eysins location.

Qualifikationen

• Senior HEOR leader with 10+ years in clinical and health outcomes research, including field-based engagement.
• Advanced degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Health Policy, or similar; MPH, RN, or RPh also considered.
• Track record engaging healthcare decision-makers (HTA bodies) to support access and adoption strategies.
• Strong leadership, presentation, and collaboration skills across multiple markets.

Director HEOR EMEA Region

As Director HEOR EMEA Region, you will play a critical role in shaping the functional direction of HEOR within the region, with a direct impact on regional strategy and meaningful input into Business Unit (BU) portfolio strategies.This role ensures that robust evidence generation and compelling value communication are in place to support regional commercial value capture, market access, and medical engagement strategies for both in-market and pipeline products and programs.The Regional HEOR Lead aligns customer priorities with the multidimensional clinical, economic, and system-level value of BD solutions.

Main ResponsibilitiesRegional HEOR Strategy and Execution

• Develop and execute regional HEOR strategy aligned with commercial, medical, and market access priorities.
• Define evidence plans, identify gaps, and drive integrated evidence generation (incl. RWE, database analyses, literature reviews).
• Lead development of HEOR models, value dossiers, and communication tools supporting differentiated value propositions.
• Apply insights on customer segments, reimbursement pathways, and regional value drivers to inform strategy.
• Support market-shaping initiatives and field-based HEOR activities (KOL engagement, insight generation).
• Monitor industry trends and HTA developments and guide regional response.
• Integration of HEOR into New Product Development
• Support and drive integration of HEOR into new product development activities.
• Embed HEOR into new product development, clinical programs, and lifecycle planning.
• Ensure alignment of regional value narratives with global evidence and launch strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Access Support
• Partner with reimbursement, regulatory, safety, marketing, and market access teams.
• Monitor HTA activity, reimbursement and legislative trends, and support market access submissions.
• Functional Leadership and Capability Building
• Demonstrate HEOR business impact in collaboration with commercial and marketing teams.
• Build regional capability in evidence-based engagement and value communication.
• Lead development of the HEOR function and standardize best practices.
• Manage resources and external partnerships.
• Represent BD externally (e.g., ISPOR, MedTech Europe).

About YouSenior HEOR leader with 10+ years of experience in clinical and health outcomes research, including field-based engagement. Strong academic background and proven ability to shape evidence strategies, influence healthcare decision-makers, and drive access and adoption across multiple markets.

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD/DO); relevant disciplines include Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Health Policy, or similar (MPH, RN, RPh also considered).
• Proven track record engaging healthcare decision-makers (incl. HTA bodies) to support access and adoption strategies.
• Strong technical and strategic expertise with experience delivering enterprise-level HEOR strategies across markets.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and collaborative problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working with or advising regional executive leadership teams.
