Job summary

Ophtapharm AG is seeking a Digital Systems Implementation Manager to guide software deployment and CSV across laboratory and quality environments. You will work with Quality, IT, Operations, and external partners to ensure compliant implementation and successful validation, enabling scalable growth.

The role focuses on GMP, CSV, and process optimization, with close alignment to Quality Control and Assurance teams in a modern, agile setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, CS or related discipline.
• Experience managing software implementation projects in GMP-regulated environments.
• Solid understanding of GMP requirements and CSV principles (GAMP 5).

Responsibilities

• Lead software implementation and CSV activities from project initiation through go-live.
• Manage project plans, timelines, resources, vendors, and stakeholders across functions.
• Ensure GMP-compliant implementation, validation, testing, documentation, and change management.
• Act as the main interface between business users, IT, quality functions, and external providers.
• Drive digital transformation and continuous improvement across quality and laboratory systems.

Digital Systems Implementation Manager (80-100%)

As Ophtapharm continues its digital transformation journey, we are investing in modern systems and technologies that support quality, compliance, data integrity, and operational excellence. As part of our Quality Department, you will become the go-to expert for software implementation projects across our laboratory and quality environment. Working closely with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, IT, Operations, and external partners, you will lead the successful implementation and validation of new systems that support our future growth.

Your Role

• Lead software implementation and CSV activities from project initiation through successful go-live.
• Manage project plans, timelines, resources, vendors, and stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Ensure GMP-compliant implementation, validation, testing, documentation, and change management activities.
• Act as the key interface between business users, IT, quality functions, and external solution providers.
• Drive digital transformation, process optimization, and continuous improvement across quality and laboratory systems.

Your Profile

• Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing software implementation projects in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or life sciences environment.
• Solid understanding of GMP requirements, computerized system validation (CSV), and GAMP 5 principles.
• Experience implementing or validating laboratory, quality, manufacturing, or other GxP-regulated systems.
• Professional communication skills in German and English.
