Job summary

Techyon in Mendrisio, Switzerland, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to strengthen our on-site infrastructure for AI-driven PCB inspection systems. You will maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and monitoring across Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.

You will collaborate with developers and QA, implement Ansible provisioning, and ensure security and reliability on edge/onsite systems. Fluent English and Italian are required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Linux-based systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools—ideally TeamCity.
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Working knowledge of Ansible or similar provisioning tools.
• Scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools—Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.
• Deep understanding of security best practices (network, app, data).
• Proactive, collaborative mindset and interest in improving infra/workflows.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English and Italian.

Core Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve our current CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity).
• Support containerized service development and deployment using Docker Compose.
• Collaborate with developers and QA on automated E2E testing (currently using Playwright and Python).
• Manage system configuration and provisioning using Ansible.
• Monitor infrastructure and service health using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, performance, and security.
• Support the deployment and testing of software on physical AOI systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in automation, scalability, and system reliability.

Job Requirements

Essential Qualifications:
