The Deputy Team Leader Care and Nursing 80-100% at Stiftung Leben im Alter in Herisau leads a residential group of about 30 residents across two floors, working within a close-knit, family-like setting. You will join a committed management team and, with the team leader, supervise around 15 staff, ensuring high-quality, compassionate daily care.

We seek a motivated nursing professional with HF training, long-term care experience, and German at C1 level who thrives in teamwork and stays calm

Qualifications

• Completed training as a certified nursing professional HF or equivalent recognised in Switzerland.
• Solid experience in long-term care and documentation in RAI soft Net.
• Very good German skills C1 and proficiency with Outlook.
• Gained initial leadership experience and desire to grow into leadership.
• Independent, responsible and able to remain calm in busy situations.
• Willingness to work with elderly residents and be a true team player.

Your demanding and varied tasks:

• You are part of a committed management team and, together with the team leader, responsible for leading and organising a team of around 15 employees.
• Together you create an atmosphere in which the residents feel safe, welcome and at home. Regular exchange with relatives is a matter of course for you.
• You are close to the team, accompany the daily care routine, regularly take on the daily responsibility and naturally help out when support is needed.
• Your ideas are in demand: you actively shape the future of our family‑like residential area and set impulses for high‑quality care.

Our requirements:

• You have completed training as a certified nursing professional HF or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland.
• You have solid experience in long‑term care and documentation in RAI soft Net is a matter of course for you in your professional daily routine.
• Very good German skills C1 and proficient use of Outlook complete your profile.
• You have gained initial leadership experience and want to further develop your leadership role.
• You act independently, responsibly and keep a cool head even in lively situations.
