Job summary
SGI in Visp, Switzerland is seeking an experienced EI&C DeltaV Engineer to support CAPEX projects within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
You will design and implement DeltaV automation solutions, configure control strategies, graphics, alarms and interfaces, and prepare GxP-compliant engineering and validation documentation.
Fluency in German is required; English is an asset. The role is 100% on-site in Visp with potential extension beyond 12 months.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Hands-on DeltaV engineering and configuration experience.
- Experience documenting GxP/compliance in regulated environments.
- Knowledge of commissioning, IQ/OQ/PQ and validation processes.
- Experience supporting CAPEX projects.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- German language skills required; English a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement DeltaV automation solutions for CAPEX projects.
- Configure control strategies, interfaces, graphics, alarms, and processes in DeltaV.
- Prepare GMP/GxP-compliant engineering and validation documents.
- Integrate DeltaV with equipment, PLCs, MES, and plant systems.
- Lead FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ, commissioning and startup activities.
- Troubleshoot automation and control system issues throughout projects.
- Ensure GMP, data integrity, change management, and validation compliance.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Validation and Project teams.
