To support the continuous expansion of our client base, we are reinforcing our Delivery team at our headquarters in Lugano.

The role

We are looking for a Delivery / Functional Consultant, at either Junior or Senior level.

You will be part of a dedicated, expert team responsible for:

• Implementing our flagship platform MasterFinance at client sites.
• Designing, testing, and validating platform enhancements.
• Delivering expert product knowledge and functional documentation.
• Working closely with our Product team to shape new features based on client needs.

If you have hands-on experience with financial instruments and practical exposure to capital markets operations within banks, asset managers, or corporate treasuries, we would be more than happy to hear from you.

Senior experience requirements:

• Degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics / Physics or equivalent, with strong analytical background. Master's in Finance is a strong plus
• 4-8 years of practical experience in the financial services or consulting, with direct exposure to financial instruments maths and risk management modelling
• Solid and structured knowledge of financial products (fixed income, money markets, interest rate and FX derivatives, credit, equity and commodities and relevant derivatives)
• Practical experience with:
  • -Trade capture and lifecycle
  • -Valuation, pricing, and P&L attribution
  • -Hedging and margin optimization
  • -Liquidity and collateral management
  • -Market and credit risk metrics (VaR, sensitivities, exposures)
  • -Position management, settlements, and accounting
• Familiarity with industry-standard operating models in capital markets and treasury.
• Strong understanding of project delivery cycles from requirements gathering to UAT and deployment.
• Comfortable working with relational databases and structured data.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., EMIR, Basel III/IV, IFRS 9) is a plus.
• Experience applying project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to lead and motivate teams, and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Italian and English (mandatory); knowledge of French or German is a strong plus.

Junior experience requirements:

• Degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar. Master’s in Finance is a strong plus.
• 2-4 years of hands‑on experience in financial services or consulting, with a strong focus on financial instruments and risk analysis.
• Working knowledge of:
  • -Financial products (as above)
  • -Risk concepts (e.g., P&L, exposures, sensitivities) and metrics (e.g., VaR)
  • -Good understanding of accounting and settlements
• Ability to write and interpret functional specifications and integration documents.
• Solid handling of data and structured formats (e.g., database queries, Excel modelling).
• Proficiency in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, initiative, team orientation and flexibility under pressure.
