Swisscom invites applications for a Data Platform Engineer based in Zurich with hybrid work. You will operate and evolve Kubernetes-based data platforms, automate deployment pipelines with ArgoCD, and optimize data middleware such as Kafka.

• Several years of experience as a Data Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and ArgoCD as well as automated build and deployment processes.
• Experience with cloud environments and observability stacks, plus data platforms and relational databases.
• Optional: Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.

As a Data Platform Engineer, you operate, evolve, and automate modern data platforms on Kubernetes. You build and run scalable cloud and container environments while streamlining build and deployment processes. Together with your team, you strengthen platform stability, security, and observability.
