Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include the automation of deployments, customer support and the continuous improvement and maintenance of the infrastructure.
- Together with the team members, an efficient and smooth provision of services is ensured, creating a positive and sustainable customer experience.
- In addition, collaboration in interdisciplinary teams is encouraged to develop innovative solutions and drive the digital transformation of the customer base.
- Particular attention is paid to the application of agile methods and the use of state-of-the‑art technologies.
- Realise projects with market-leading tools and continuously develop automation standards Interface between business and IT to ensure the mapping of telco services in the customer’s digital experience chain
- Implementing customer requirements and projects in the system and updating and further developing customer platforms
- Synchronise, standardise and accelerate IT processes to increase quality and obtain an end-to-end overview of all IT business processing
- Use state-of-the‑art infrastructure and CI/CD as focal points to design smart automations
- Working in an agile environment with modern cloud-native technologies and infrastructure as code
- Operation and further development of security solutions in the area of endpoint protection and extended detection and response
- Close collaboration with various departments in an exciting and varied working environment
- Responsibility for the high end-to-end quality of services, optimisation and automation of processes and promotion of the cloud transformation of existing platforms
Qualifications
- Degree (ETH/Uni/UAS/PEI) or equivalent qualification in computer science, business informatics or relevant professional experience.
- Several years of professional experience in complex IT environments and in-depth expertise in client engineering with Microsoft products.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Group Policies (GPO), System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), Active Directory and PowerShell.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash or JavaScript as well as automation tools such as GitLab CI/CD.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt).
- Sound knowledge of Linux administration, Bash, Git and container environments.
- Experience in networking, storage, virtualisation (VMWare, vSphere) and basic IT knowledge of DNS, DHCP, LDAP.
- Familiar with agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevOps tools.
- Independent, resilient and structured way of working with a high level of comprehension.
- Team and solution-orientated personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High customer and service orientation as well as experience in customer support and problem solving in complex environments.
- Very good German and English; French is an advantage.
