Zusammenfassung

Swissquote is seeking a Data, Oversight & Transformation Lead within Business Risk Management (BRM) to drive data strategy, build reporting infrastructure, and deliver real-time dashboards for management across the bank.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Compliance, and IT to structure BRM data, automate workflows, and provide insights that support risk and regulatory objectives from Gland and Zurich.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in a quantitative field, CS or data science.
• 5+ years in data analytics or reporting, preferably in finance.
• Strong skills in data visualization and reporting tools.
• Excellent Excel skills and SQL knowledge.
• Experience with process mapping and low/no-code automation.
• Ability to translate data into management-ready dashboards.
• Familiarity with GDPR and Swiss privacy considerations.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

About The Function

Business Risk Management (BRM) is Swissquote’s first-line risk function, overseeing client onboarding, periodic reviews, and ongoing controls throughout the client lifecycle. Operating across Gland and Zurich, BRM works closely with Front Office, Compliance, and Legal to ensure regulatory compliance while supporting business objectives through a pragmatic, risk-based approach.

Role Overview

As Data, Oversight & Transformation Lead, you will drive BRM's data and transformation agenda, building the reporting infrastructure and dashboards that give management a complete, real-time view of the department's activity, and turning that data into insight that feeds strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Risk Management, you will work closely with operational teams to structure and validate the data BRM generates, and with Swissquote's technical teams on strategic projects, including related workflow and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and structure case management data to provide a complete, real-time view of volumes, backlogs, workload, and SLA / productivity across the department.
• Build dashboards and reports for management use (e.g., via Tableau or similar tools), turning raw case data into clear, decision-ready views.
• Translate management’s reporting and measurement priorities into practical data structures and dashboards.
• Analyse processes to identify and implement tactical automation opportunities, working with Swissquote's technical teams on relevant enterprise workflow initiatives.
• Act as single point of contact for all dat-related matters, including provision of audit and regulatory-driven data extractions and reporting as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a Quantitative field, Computer Science or Data Science
• At least 5 years' experience in a data analytics or reporting role, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
• Strong hands‑on proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent)
• Strong Excel skills; working knowledge of SQL to query and extract data from case management systems.
• Working knowledge of process mapping and low code / no-code workflow automation tools
• Ability to translate operational / case data into clear, management‑ready dashboards and reports.
• Understanding and/ or solid appetite to learn more about Risk & Compliance topics within a Swiss bank
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills in English, with French being an asset.
